Purpose-built, fully-integrated brazing line that converts flux-coated radiator cores into leak-free, corrosion-resistant assemblies in a single 10 m pass. The furnace is engineered for 24/7 automotive-tier production: 60–120 cores · h⁻¹ (depending on core size), ±2 °C temperature uniformity, and <5 ppm O₂ throughout the brazing zone to guarantee joint quality on ultra-thin (<0.3 mm) aluminum fins and tubes.

1. Degreasing Furnace

– 3-stage spray/immersion cleaning (alkali + rinse + passivation) at 55–65 °C; stainless-steel 316L tanks, 0.2 µm filtered recirculation, and automatic oil-skimmer to keep residual carbon <0.05 mg · dm⁻².

2. Spray Booth & Fluxing Station

– Closed-loop Nocolok flux slurry application via 6-axis reciprocating nozzles; gravimetric slurry control (±1 %) minimizes flux consumption to 3 g · m⁻². Down-draft booth with <1 mg · m⁻³ airborne particulate; stainless mist eliminator and 99 % flux recovery.

3. Drying Furnace

4. Brazing Furnace (10 m heated length)

– Five independently-controlled heat zones, 560–615 °C set-point window; nickel-chromium radiant tubes + high-velocity circulation fans deliver ±2 °C uniformity (AMS 2750F Class 2).

– Muffle constructed of 310S/RA330, 6 mm wall, argon-sealed; maintains <5 ppm O₂ and <15 ppm H₂O to suppress oxide formation.

– Continuous mesh-belt or pin-chain conveyor rated 150 kg · m⁻¹; belt speed 50–500 mm · min⁻¹ synchronized via PLC for smooth thermal profile.

– Fast-response SCR power units cut energy use by 18 % versus conventional brick-lined furnaces.

5. Cooling System

– 3-stage controlled cooling: water-jacketed muffle (300 → 150 °C), forced-air convection (150 → 60 °C), and ambient blow-off; prevents residual stress and fin warpage. Optional closed-loop water chiller keeps ΔT ≤10 °C across core width.

Process control & traceability

Siemens S7-1500 PLC + 12-inch HMI; recipe management for 200+ part numbers, automatic profile logging (1 Hz), and Ethernet/IP interface to plant MES. Each core laser-marked pre-braze; furnace data (temperature, belt speed, O₂ ppm) archived ≥10 years for PPAP/TS 16949 compliance.

Performance validation

Note: The power listed in the technical specification is the maximum load capacity of the equipment, not the service value. The workpiece load determines the actual load, and the fixture is transmitted to the conveyor belt.

The number of brazing zones is designed to sufficiently ensure the workpiece is heated to the required temperature in the protective nitrogen. The temperature uniformity of the product in the final brazing zone (575℃ -650℃) is ±3℃.

Brazing muffle for air chamber is welded structure, the length of the whole sheet adopts bending without splicing.
