Aluminum Fin-Stock Coil & Strip Cleaner

Scope of Application:

Pure aluminum and all wrought or cast aluminum alloys; optimized for micro-channel tubes, radiator fins, condenser coils, heat-exchanger plates and thin-gauge stamped parts.

Equipment Compatibility:

Ultrasonic tanks, heated immersion systems, spray-under-immersion modules.

Operating Instructions:

1. Dilute to 5 % v/v in DI water (1 L concentrate → 20 L working bath).

2. Heat to 65 °C ± 5 °C; maintain temperature with PID controller for ±2 °C accuracy.

3. Immerge parts; couple 28–40 kHz ultrasonic agitation or low-pressure sparge for 2–5 min.

4. Rinse with warm DI water ≤ 40 °C; air-knife dry or centrifugal spin.

Aluminum Fin Cleaner

1. Zero-Phosphorus, Zero-Nitrogen, Non-Toxic & Low-Odor – readily rinsed; meets REACH, ROHS and wastewater-discharge limits.

2. Ultra-Fast Penetration – surface tension < 28 dyn cm⁻¹; cuts through carbonized lubricants and quenishing oils in seconds.

3. Dual-Action Chemistry – simultaneous wetting, saponification and micro-emulsification lifts oil off the metal and keeps it suspended; no re-deposition.

4. Oxide-Film Safe – pH 9.5 ± 0.3; preserves the native Al₂O₃ barrier and maintains original mill-finish reflectivity (> 80 GU).

5. Spot-Free Finish – rinse-water sheets uniformly; zero water-break stains, rainbow marks or white residues; no galvanic discoloration.

C. Bath Make-Up & Top-Up Protocol

1. Start-up: 5 % v/v in DI water, heat to 65 °C ± 5 °C.

2. Continuous operation:
– Skim free-floating oil hourly; integrate coalescing oil-water separator to extend bath life ≥ 30 %.

– When degrease time increases > 20 % vs. baseline, boost 1–2 % v/v of fresh Aluminum Fin Cleaner.

3. Re-build triggers:
– Oil content > 3 g L⁻¹ (Gravimetric, ASTM D95)

– pH drops > 0.5 unit

– Bath appears heavily emulsified or particulate > 200 NTU

– Daily part count target reached (customer-defined)

– Continuous shift cycle completed (e.g., 24 h or 72 h with daily top-up)

Recharge entire tank; discard per local effluent regulations.

Safety Precautions

1. Eye Contact – Immediately flush eyes with slow-running clean water for at least 15 min while holding eyelids open; remove contact lenses if present; seek medical evaluation if irritation persists.

2. Ingestion – Rinse mouth thoroughly, then drink 200–300 mL water to dilute; do NOT induce vomiting; refer casualty to physician with Safety Data Sheet.

3. Spillage – Small spill: wipe up with absorbent cloth; large spill: contain with inert sand or vermiculite, transfer to labeled chemical waste drum; prevent run-off to drains or waterways.

Packaging & Storage

25 kg net in HDPE tight-head drum. Store sealed in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and frost.
