Car Radiator Accessories Aluminum Header Plate
The aluminum header plate—also called the top plate or main board—is the core accessory of an automotive radiator assembly. Stamped and riveted by progressive dies, it locks the cooling tubes and seals the coolant chamber together with the plastic tank.
CNC-controlled punching guarantees ≤±0.05 mm hole position, which directly decides the radiator’s leak-proof performance and heat-exchange efficiency.
Material & Grade
Aluminum Header Plate
We supply two specs to meet different cost & weight targets:
1. Standard – 4343/3003/7072 clad aluminum : 4343 layer → excellent brazeability & thermal conductivity; 3003 core → medium strength & corrosion resistance; 7072 layer → sacrificial anode, anti-galvanic corrosion
2. Economy – 3003-H18 bare aluminum, 1.4-1.5 mm :Lower cost, 15 % lighter, still meets ASTM B209
