Aluminum Header Plate for Passenger Car Radiator
Passenger car radiator aluminum header plates—also called top plates or main boards—lock the flat oval tubes and seal the coolant chamber against the plastic tank. CNC progressive-die punching keeps hole position within ±0.05 mm, eliminating micro-leaks and maintaining heat-transfer efficiency under 0.9 bar system pressure.

Aluminum Header Plate
1. Standard clad: 4343/3003/7072 (10 % / 80 % / 10 % by wt.)
– 4343 layer – melts at 605-615 °C, delivers filler metal during CAB brazing
– 3003 core – gives 135 MPa tensile strength, resists 150 °C glycol
– 7072 layer – acts as sacrificial anode, passes 500 h ASTM B117 salt-spray
2. Optional bare 3003-H18, 1.4 mm, 8 % lighter for EV models needing extra range.

4. Coined groove for O-ring gasket – depth 0.4 mm ±0.02 mm, width 2.2 mm
